Japanese Word for Gorged?!

May 17 cont...

I slept for three hours and could have for the rest of the night, but I knew it was getting near dinner time.

Mamasan came in with a dinner Yukata which was the same style as (and worn over) the thin ones we got in our rooms but it was short and of a heavy fabric. She helped me with mine, retying my summer Yukata too.

Dinner as usual, was bowl after bowl or various dishes. Some I couldn’t do but I ate a lot.
Long after I was gorged, Mamasan was still bringing out food for me and the kitchen staff were standing at the door to the kitchen to watch. The 'specially prepared' dishes included a pound-of-butter sized slab of Tofu. I was really embarrassed because I didn’t want to seem ungrateful but I don’t think she understood what I meant when I was telling her I was too full and about to explode already.

As reluctant as I was, I just had to leave it the remainder untouched.
