May 16 cont...

We got to Mishiyama and got a taxi to the Hotel.

Another HiDeHi but with familiar character and warmth.

We got to our rooms and when I opened mine, it signs of vacation in it!
Takashi San said Come with me, meaning to his room and he called reception. They came and gave me another key.

While in Takashi Sans room, because we were traveling together the next day afterall, he booked us into another Hotel for tomorrow night.
He then rang his Doctor friend, who spoke (not very good) English so that I could explain what I was trying to tell him earlier. I could tell Doctor friend didn’t really get what I was saying either so I simplified.
I handed the phone back over and he translated and all was OK.

I went to my room and had 40 winks till dinner time.

I met Takashi San at his room and we went to the dining room. The meal looked like a non-Japanese persons worst nightmare, but luckily there was also Spaghetti, so I ate mine and Takashi Sans.

Tonight our Sake and Beer came out of a vending machine. The wonderful discovery was that vending machine Sake came in sealed glasses. Takashi San was dumbfounded that I would keep the glasses to take home!
